Our General Workmanship and Material Warranty Policy

All work comes with a one-year workmanship warranty, unless otherwise explicitly stated. Product warranty is dependent on the manufacturer.

Home Repipe 

10-year warranty on all PEX piping installations and connections. All other work associated with the repipe is warrantied for a standard 1 year. Material issues will be addressed through the manufacturer. 

Water Line and Sewer Line Replacement (not repairs).

10-year warranty on all workmanship. Material issues will be addressed through the manufacturer. Connections to old sewer, water lines, and septics are not warrantied beyond 1 year.

Fixtures

2 years on fixture replacements, workmanship, and material, unless the manufacturer states otherwise. 

1-year warranty on workmanship. Fixture repairs issues not due to workmanship cannot be warrantied. 

Water Heater Warranty Information

Hybrid Tank Water Heaters

6 year warranty on workmanship. Generally the tank has a 10 year warranty and extended warranties can be purchased. If the water heater has a warranty issue, Noble Plumbing does not count that as a workmanship warranty.

Gas and Non-hybrid Electric Tank Water Heaters

6-year warranty on workmanship. Generally, the tank has a 6-year warranty, and extended warranties are available. If the water heater has a warranty issue, Noble Plumbing does not consider it a workmanship warranty. 

Tankless Water Heaters

6-year warranty on workmanship if the unit has a record of service done by Noble Plumbing that matches the manufacturer’s specifications. Units have variable manufacturer warranties and require specific service schedules (15 years on heat exchangers, 5 years on parts, and annual service, for example).

Drain Cleaning Warranty Information

At Noble Plumbing, we stand behind the quality of our drain cleaning services when they are performed alongside proper inspection and verification procedures.

No Warranty Without Video Inspection

Drain cleaning performed by snaking alone is not warrantied unless accompanied by a video camera inspection. Without visual confirmation, we cannot verify the condition of the pipes or the exact cause of the blockage—meaning future stoppages may occur at any time and for unknown reasons.

Warranty Eligibility With Video Inspection

If a video inspection is performed, our technician can assess the condition of your drain line and recommend further cleaning or repairs if necessary. Based on the technician’s findings:

  • A cable snake machine may qualify for up to a 90-day warranty

  • A hydrojetting machine may qualify for up to a 365-day warranty

The specific warranty period is determined at the time of service and is subject to the technician’s documented evaluation of the drain line.

Coverage Limitations

Any warranty provided applies only to:

  • The same drain line was serviced and inspected

  • The same type of blockage that was identified and cleared

For example, if a grease clog is cleared and verified via camera, and that same line becomes re-clogged during the warranty period due to grease, it will be covered. However, issues such as:

  • Foreign object intrusions

  • Root intrusions or structural failure

  • Blockages in different drain lines

  • Deteriorating, cracked, or bellied lines

...are not covered under the warranty.

Pipe Type Exclusions

Please note that drain lines composed of:

  • Concrete

  • Clay

  • Durham Systems

  • Orangeburg Systems

  • Galvanized

...are never covered under Noble Plumbing’s drain cleaning warranty due to their inherent susceptibility to damage, collapse, and intrusion.

What’s Not Covered in Our Policy:

  • We do NOT warranty products/supplies provided by the customer or others (contractors). We will charge for our workmanship and services.

  • We do NOT warranty our work if the final product, installation, or repair is modified by another party (homeowner or another contractor, for example).

  • We do NOT warranty any of our work that is impacted by weather elements or other factors outside our control (acts of God).

  • We do NOT warranty water systems or fixtures in conditions with pressure over 80 PSI

  • We do NOT warranty repairs on Galvanized, CPVC, Kitech, and Quest/Polybutylene Piping due to the known defects with these plumbing systems.


Workmanship refers to the quality of skill, art, or technique used by a person in the creation of a product or the performance of a task. It describes both the process (the application of skill) and the result (the quality of the finished object).
