Repiping Services

Noble Plumbing has a high degree of experience in repiping galvanized water supply and drain lines along with CPVC water supply lines. We pride ourselves on being experts, clean, and organized in repipe work as it can be disruptive to the homeowner.

Some examples of repipe work we have completed recently are Snoqualmie Ridge Projects where many homes were built with CPVC piping which becomes brittle and prone to leaks over time. This also includes Downtown Snoqualmie/North Bend homes that are older and were piped with galvanized pipes. These pipes become corroded and build up with rust that slows the flow of water and waste. These pipes are also difficult to repair and connect to modern fixtures.

We also replaced a number of copper and pex pipes that experienced pinhole leaks.

Repiping

We have an older manufactured home with its original piping, made of a product discontinued long ago due to its brittle nature; needless to say, we kept having leaks pop-up.  My handy husband was able to fix them all until one day he went on a much needed vacation & I discovered another leak, this time under our kitchen sink. I called around and everyone was busy but Noble Plumbing was able to fit us in & repair.  When my husband came back, we decided that it was time to consider a re-pipe. It was just becoming too much stress wondering when the next leak would unveil itself. I'm one for due diligence and even though Noble was great I called 3 different plumbers for bids.  Most were not interested in the project and one even said "good luck finding someone!" I didn't need good luck, I needed Noble who gave us a bid within our budget and we set up a time for them to do the work.  We got our new pipes installed and a lot of relief!  They did a fantastic job and our water pressure is way better!  Who knew?  I highly recommend them for a repipe. The peace of mind is 100% worth it. Noble will work hard to finish on time and get you back on line with quality and care.  Great company!

  • Repiping is the process of replacing the existing plumbing pipes in a building or home with new ones. This is done to address issues such as leaks, corrosion, low water pressure, and other plumbing problems associated with aging or deteriorating pipes.

  • Repiping is necessary when you experience recurring leaks, discolored water, reduced water pressure, or if your pipes are old and made of materials known to deteriorate over time, such as galvanized steel.

  • Common signs that you may need repiping include frequent leaks, rusty or discolored water, reduced water pressure, banging or noisy pipes, and an overall decline in the performance of your plumbing system.

  • Common materials used for repiping include copper, PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), and sometimes PVC (polyvinyl chloride). The choice of material depends on factors such as budget, local building codes, and personal preference.

  • The duration of a repiping project can vary depending on the size of the property, the complexity of the plumbing system, and other factors. On average, a repiping project for a single-family home can take anywhere from a few days to a week.

  • While there will be some disruption during the repiping process, a professional plumbing team will take measures to minimize mess and clean up after the job is completed.

  • In most cases, you can remain in your home during the repiping process. However, there may be brief periods when water service is temporarily interrupted. Your plumbing team will inform you in advance and take steps to minimize any inconvenience.

  • Repiping is a complex task that requires specialized knowledge and skills. It is strongly recommended to hire a licensed and experienced plumbing professional to ensure the job is done safely and to code.
